The Oxford Youth Wrestling Club (OYWC) practices at Oxford High School starting mid November and running thru mid March. Oxford competes in Mid-Michigan Wrestling Association (MMWA) tournaments that start in January and run through mid March.
The tournaments are Saturday and Sundays at different schools in and around the area (for more info and dates, check out the Tentative Schedule)
There are two types of tournaments:
Open tournaments are generally for more experienced wrestlers and are open to all wrestlers in our club.
Novice tournaments are only open to wrestlers who fall under the category of “Novice wrestler”
Oxford will also participate in MYWA (pronounced MYWAY)
